Is Ranbir Kapoor Really Doing Kabir Singh Director's Next? 'No Actor Has Been Finalised' Says Bhushan Kumar
Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019. Though the film was mired with controversy, it still managed to rake in moolah at the box-office. With this mega success of Kabir Singh, the director of the film Sandeep Reddy Vanga was set to make another film which will be on the lines of thriller and crime which will be titled as Devil. The film will be produced under T-series. And from here the reports started floating that Reddy is looking for a perfect actor and he has roped in Ranbir Kapoor for the same. Not only this, it was also reported that the Jagga Jasoos actor had loved the script and has given his nod to star in the film.

However, that is not going to happen anymore as the owner of T-series Bhushan Kumar refuted all the reports by saying that no actor has been finalised yet. During the trailer launch of Marjaavaan, when asked about confirmation on the same, Bhushan told, "We are doing the film. But no one actor has been finalised. He is still writing the script. When it'll be ready we will officially announce it. No one has been approached yet." Guess, we need to wait for an official announcement now.

Speaking of Marjaavaan, the trailer of the film, which was released on Thursday has love and vengeance packed in this film. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh. Helmed by Milap Zaveri and is slated to release on November 8, 2019.
