After the porn racket controversy, Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra made their first public appearance as they visited Baglamukhi Temple in Himachal Pradesh. The couple was seen seeking blessings from the goddess who is considered to be powerful and benevolent. The reason many worship this goddess is, it provides relief for the ones battling legal cases and provide relief from the enemies as well. Keeping in mind the couple, after the actress’ husband was jailed for his involvement in producing content, has suffered a lot.
Hence, they might have decided to seek her blessings for a better future. The temple is located near Dharamshala; the goddess is also known as Maa Pitambara. Thus, many visit the temple in yellow clothes and also offer sweets those in yellow colour such as besan laddoo. Raj and Shilpa were also seen in yellow attires when they visited the temple. She is also known by the names, Pitambaradevi, Shatrubuddhivinashini and Brahmastra Roopini. While the couple was clicked together at the temple, nowhere managed to click the couple together at the airport.
In the past former President Pranab Mukherjee and late PM Indira Gandhi also paid a visit to this temple.
Shilpa Shetty after Raj Kundra’s arrest had issued a statement, urging people to leave the family alone and not to invade their privacy, followed by mentioning that she believes in law and waits for it to take the right course of action.
