“It Is Unfortunate That Tiger Shroff's Films Outside My Company Haven't Worked,” Sajid Nadiadwala On Actor’s Career Graph- EXCLUSIVE
Tiger Shroff is 6-films old in Bollywood and his 7th, WAR with his idol, Hrithik Roshan is underway. However, out of the 6, his success rate has been only of 50 percent. We spoke to Sajid Nadidadwala, the man who gave Tiger a break, about his wavering career graph and the filmmaker expressed his concern for the Baaghi actor
Tiger Shroff’s career kick-started with his debut film, Heropanti, co-starring Kriti Sanon. The film was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala who also gave Tiger 2 major hits of his career, Baaghi and Baaghi 2. However, when the actor stepped out of the Nadidadwala’s production, unfortunately luck didn’t shine over him.
We got talking to Sajid Nadiadwala recently and amidst our conversation we spoke about the boy he launched, Tiger Shroff. When we told him that he really nurtures and stands by the talent he launches, like Tiger, the filmmaker expressed his opinion on Shroff’s career graph. He said, “It is unfortunate that Tiger's films outside my company haven't worked. He’s a talent who should not be limited to our company. He should be grabbed by all the good directors.”
Tiger Shroff is 6-films old in the industry, but his success rate is about 50 percent, and ironically the three films which didn’t work for the actor are all outside Sajid Nadiadwala’s production- Flying Jatt by Balaji Productions, Munna Micheal by Eros and Student Of The Year 2 by Dharma. Now, SOTY 2 cannot be labelled as a flop, but if we go by mass and critics review, who shined bright in the film was Ananya Panday while not much was spoken about Tiger as such. Flying Jatt and Munna Micheal stand as duds at the box-office, accepted by the actor himself on various occasions.
Now, Tiger is gearing up for WAR- an action-packed drama with his idol, Hrithik Roshan. This one too is outside Nadiadwala productions and is being helmed by Yash Raj Films. Will the jinx break this time for Tiger? We bet Sajid will be the happiest, if it does.
