Congratulations are in order as Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband Raj Kundra just announced the arrival of their little bundle of joy, their baby girl Samisha, born via surrogacy. The actress took to her Instagram and made the big reveal on the occasion of Maha Shivratri today. Shilpa Shetty shared a picture of the newborn baby’s hands and captioned it as, “Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah. Our prayers have been answered with a miracle... With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house."
Shilpa Shetty further explained the meaning of her name and wrote, “Sa in Sanskrit is 'to have', and Misha in Russian stands for 'someone like God'. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family. Please bestow our angel with all your love and blessings. Ecstatic parents: Raj and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Overjoyed brother: Viaan-Raj Kundra." The couple tied the knot in November 2009 and had welcomed their first child- son Viaan, in May 2012. Baby Samisha is their second child.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa Shetty is all set to make a comeback to films after 13 years with ‘Nikamma’, and it also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia. It is scheduled to release in June, 2020.
