It’s A Hatrrick For Katrina Kaif And Hrithik Roshan, To Reunite In Satte Pe Satta Remake?
Has Katrina Kaif bagged the leading lady’s role in the remake of Satte Pe Satta? If reports are true then this is the third time Hrithik Roshan will be seen with Katrina on the silver screen.
Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and few more divas were considered to step into the shoes of veteran actress Hema Malini for the remake of 'Satte Pe Satta'. While the lead was confirmed by the makers by roping in Hrithik Roshan, they were in search for his leading lady to pull of this role with various shades; which Dreamgirl of Bollywood had nailed back then. Putting an ending to this guessing game now, as per reports in Times of India, Katrina has emerged as a winner in this race.
Kat has been confirmed by the makers to star opposite Hrithik in this remake. It was a tough call for makers, as all the three names Deepika, Disha and Katrina have proved themselves as bankable actresses of Bollywood. Though we still wait for an official announcement from the makers, it would be fun to watch Hrithik-Katrina's reunion on screen once again. The duo had starred in Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Siddharth Anand's Bang Bang, both the flicks did decent business at the box-office.
Currently both are basking in the glory for their last releases. While, Hrithik’s Super 30 is enjoying a dream run at the box-office, Katrina’s last release Bharat grossed 200 crore retaining Salman Khan’s Eid spot.
Coming back to Satte Pe Satta remake Hrithik will play a double role in the film as per the original plot. The actor had last played a double role in his debut movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Makers are yet to finalise on the remaining cast, especially Hrithik’s six onscreen siblings.
The original film Satte Pe Satte which released in 1982, featured Amitabh Bachchan in double role, one of a kind hearted Ravi and other of the antagonist Babu.
