Amitabh Bachchan’s eighth edition of the famous quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, has come to an end. The shows last two episodes were shot on Wednesday, October 29 at Yash Raj Studios stage no 1. Keeping the tradition of a special closing episode alive, the superstar host shot an episode with the team of Kill Dil, which includes Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Govinda and Ali Zafar. It was a fun-filled episode with Govinda and Ranveer in their element.
A production hand lets in, “Govinda, Ranveer, Parineeti and Ali had a blast with Mr Bachchan. It will be a grand closing episode, which will air sometime before their film releases in November. They played very well. Ranveer was the entertainer on the set. He had Bachchan and the audience in splits with his histrionics.
Another episode that was shot on the same day for another days telecast was a promotional tie-up for one of Sony Entertainments upcoming shows with Ronit Roy as the hero. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor, who was present on set with the lead pair, Ronit and Pallavi Kulkarni Nerurkar. She enjoyed her time interacting with the star host.
It was a great season for everyone involved as its a show full of challenges. And we can only hope that another season begins really soon,” says the production source.
