It's Big B Or Irrfan For Sarbjit Biopic

You already have Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing Dalbir Kaur and Randeep Hooda playing Sarbjit Singh in Omung Kumar's Sarbjit biopic. That's a pretty impressive cast in itself, no?
Now, it's gonna turn all the more exciting.
We just heard that Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan are the two actors being considered for the role of the Pakistani lawyer who defended Sarbjit but couldn't save him from the death penalty that the court in Pakistan pronounced for him.
"It's a pivotal role, almost as important as Dalbir Kaur's role because this is the man who tried his best to seek justice for him. A large part of the film is also set in Pakistan," says a source close to the development.
If Big B does give his nod to the project, it'll be great to see him and his bahu together in the same film. The two have given us memorable movies like Mohabbatein, Khakee and Sarkar Raj in the past. Not to mention, the dance number Kajraa Re in Bunty Aur Babli.
When contacted, Sandeep Singh, who has turned producer with this project after working for several years with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, chose to stay non-committal. He said, "My cast is in place, thank you! You'll know who is playing the lawyer when we announce it shortly."
Hmmm...we'll definitely keep an eye out for this one.
