It's Confirmed: 'Pati' Kartik Aaryan Will Get Sandwiched Between 'Patni' Ananya Panday And 'Woh' Bhumi Pednekar
Once again, SpotboyE.com was bang on. As we told you 2 days back, Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandya have been finalised for the remake of Pati, Patni Aur Woh, it's been now confirmed by makers that Bhumi and Ananya are the leads of the film
Just like

back, we told you EXCLUSIVELY about Bhumi Pendnekar and Ananya Panday coming on
board as the main leads of Pati Patni Aur Woh. Interestingly, the same morning Taapsee Pannu had lashed out
at makers for replacing her overnight in the project. In conversation with
Mumbai Mirror, Taapsee had revealed that she was disheartened when she learnt
about the development; and she was reportedly not given any explanation.
And this
morning, an official confirmation of our story has also come. That's right! The
makers have confirmed that they have zeroed down on Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi
Pednekar and Ananya Panday to play the lead in the remake if 1978’s hit film
Pati, Patni Aur Woh. And SpotboyE.com brings you exclusively that Bhumi will
play the role of 'woh' while Kartik and Ananya will portray the role of a
married couple.
While
speaking to Bombay Times, Bhushan Kumar said, “We enjoyed great synergy with BR
Studios when we worked on Bhoothnath Returns, and we are happy to produce Pati
Patni Aur Woh with them. Juno, Abhay and Mudassar have given an interesting
tweak to the story, which matches today’s times. Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are
talented new-age actors and they add their spark to the story. We have worked
with Kartik in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) and we are glad that we are
working with him again. Bhumi has already proven what a fantastic actor she is.
Ananya is new, but the audience will fall in love with her. The film will also
have great music.”
While Juno
Chopra of BR Studios told the leading daily, “We are happy to associate with
Tseries and Bhushan Kumar for this film. Pati Patni Aur Woh was widely accepted
when it was released, and we believe that the subject still has the power to
draw the audience to the theatres. We have treated it with a modern touch and
have a fantastic team to take our vision forward.”
Taking to their social media, the trio shared their first pictures and wrote, “Patni Ya Woh ? #PatiPatniAurWoh Super excited to work with @bhumipednekar @ananyapanday !पति की बजेगी बैंड पत्नी और वो के बीच Madness is about to begin”
While the
pose trio is striking in the picture also clearly suggests that Ananya Panday
plays the wife while Bhumi plays woh, it will be interesting to see this
combination.
