It's Raining Akshay Kumar Films; Eid, Diwali, Christmas Box-Office Booked By The Birthday Boy
Akshay Kumar turns 52 today and the Khiladi of Bollywood took to his social media this morning to reveal his next project titled Prithviraj- a periodic drama based on the Indian ruler Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar’s last release Mission Mangal performed exceedingly well at the box-office and there’s no stopping the actor as he already has a very interesting line-up of films. What’s more, is that he has blocked all the festival slots at the box-office.

Akshay Kumar has already blocked the festive holidays of Diwali, Eid and Christmas. His film Laxmmi Bomb along with Kiara Advani will release on Eid 2020, Prithviraj will have a Diwali release, and his film Bachchan Pandey will release on Christmas 2020. It is interesting to note that Shah Rukh Khan, who usually comes out with his film on Diwali, has no project lined up as of now. While it was being speculated that he would star in Satte Pe Satta, but he won’t be starring in it. SRK has also denied being a part of Ali Abbas Zafar's next opposite Katrina just yesterday. Salman Khan, known for his Eid releases has also stepped down from Inshallah, vacating a slot and serving it on a platter to Khiladi Kumar. The film will have a clash with Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is set to release on Christmas 2020.

Apart from these films, Akshay will also star in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which is set to release on March 27, 2020. He will next be seen in the films Good News and Housefull 4.
