Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer Padmavati is very
much releasing on January 25, 2018. A spokesperson from Viacom 18 confirmed the
news EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com. Now that means, the film will clash at the
box-office with Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man which is scheduled to release on
the same date.

We were the first ones to tell you that Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s Aiyaary was initially scheduled to
release this Republic Day. However, the makers shifted the release so as to
avoid any clashes at the box-office.
Talking about Padmavati and Pad Man, this year is all set to begin on a
dhamaakedar note with both the films fighting it out at the box-office. It
would be interesting to see which one rakes in more money at the ticket window.
Padmavati has been in the news ever since it was in the making. The film was
initially scheduled to release on December 1, 2017. However, due to umpteen
controversies, the makers were left with no option but to push the release date
further. Pad Man, on the other hand, stars Akshay, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte
in key roles. The film gives out a social message about menstrual hygiene in
rural areas.
