An unseen picture of Janhvi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi from sets of her upcoming film, Kargil Girl has made its way online
Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, a Hindi remake of the Marathi superhit, Sairat. The actress earned praises for her performance and now, has already started shooting for her next project, a biopic based on the life of India’s first woman combat pilot, Gunjan Saxena titled Kargil Girl.
In the past, Janhvi’s look from the film has made its way online and her woman pilot avatar, got everyone talking. This time, new pictures from the sets have been leaked on social media and in the pictures, we see the actress running on a busy street whereas Pankaj is seen riding a bicycle besides her. For those not aware, Pankaj Tripathi will be playing the role of her father, Anuj Saxena in the movie. In a recent interview with a daily, the actor confirming the same had said, "It's an important story that needs to be told. When Sharan narrated the script to me, I immediately agreed to be a part of it. My role is integral to the story and I found a human connect, which is an important criterion for me to sign a film." Kargil Girl also stars Angad Bedi in the role of Gunjan’s brother, Anshuman Saxena.
Apart from Kargil Girl, Janhvi will be seen in a movie called Rooh-Afza that also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in it.
