She will be stepping into the shoes of Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena, India's first woman IAF pilot. The first poster of the actress has completely swooned us over and even the fans were pretty impressed with her look. While we are yet to see her giving a stellar performance onscreen, Janhvi become the cover girl for Brides Today Magazine and the actress slays it. Talking about her upcomming film, Gunjan Saxena was among one of the first women Indian Air Force pilots to go on a war. Not only that she was also honoured with the Shaurya Chakra for evacuating the injured soldiers in the Kargil War, 1999.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl also stars Pankaj Tripathi who will be playing the role of Janhvi’s father, Angad Bedi, is said to essay the role of her brother, Vineet Kumar, Rajat Barmecha, Vijay Varma, Manu Rishi and Harsh Chhaya will also be seen in lead roles. Directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, the film is slated to release on March 13, 2020.
