Janhvi Kapoor, who is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Good Luck Jerry’, has come under the radar of trolls for her recent remarks on Maths subject. During an interview, the Dhadak actress revealed that as a student, maths was her least favourite subject and that she fails to understand why she did not use the calculator back then for algebra. Not just that, Janhvi also stated that she believes that Maths "just makes you like retarded." This statement of the actress has not gone down well with several netizens, who are trolling her on social media.
Janhvi’s remarks have left netizens in splits. Many users slammed her while questioning the logic behind using a calculator for algebra. Speaking with Curly Tales, Janhvi stated, “I don't understand the point. Calculator invent hone ke baad aaj tak maine algebra ka istemaal kiya hai... nahi hai toh itna kyun maine sar todha. Like... what was the point? History and literature on the other hand make you cultured human. Maths just makes you like retarded I think.” The video of the same has gone viral on social media with netizens making funny jokes on the actress. One user commented, “JhanviKapoor is trying to do algebra by using calculator. And that's end the all logic. Move on Sir... Janhvi is currently on a promotional spree for Good Luck Jerry where she plays Jaya Kumari (Jerry), who becomes a drug dealer in Punjab to save her mother. The movie also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Sushant Singh and will release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29. Besides this, late Sridevi’s daughter also has an upcoming film 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' in her kitty.
