Janhvi Kapoor Gets Mobbed Ahead Of Store Inauguration In Lucknow-DETAILS BELOW

Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood. However, she was in for a rude shock after she visited a mall on Shaheed Path in Lucknow for a store launch.
The Roohi actor who was supposed to inaugurate the showroom was mobbed by guests and fans at the store and and beat a hasty retreat on seeing the commotion her visit had caused.
The reports also suggested that the guests had to bear the brunt of her fanfare as they were pushed and jostled around by eager fans looking for a selfie with the popular actress.
A recent ETimes report also suggested that Janhvi arrived late for the event with a retinue of nearly 20 bouncers which added to the confusion.
“I had been invited by the store owners for the launch and since they were friends, I went to the mall and was also eager to meet Janhvi. She was supposed to arrive by 8.30 PM but she came an hour and a half late. By then word had got out that the actress will be visiting the store and a huge crowd had gathered there. The security at the store was clearly outnumbered by the crowd and there was nearly a stampede when Janhvi came. There were just too many guests. A few of us were pushed and some also fell down in the melee,” informed a local person present for the launch, as reported by ETimes.
Onlookers dittos the scene and commotion at the launch. “I saw a lady fall down and her head hit a table real bad. Thankfully, a guard caught her from falling and literally breaking her head,” said another gentleman present at the location. “In fact the actress walked in with more than 20 bouncers who were just pushing people aside. It was so chaotic and I regret going for the supposed meet and greet. Never have I ever attended such an event in Lucknow. The event had prominent Lucknowites, firstly we were made to wait for more than two hours for Janhvi to come, then this chaos happened with the guests and her security detail. It was awful,” said another invitee.
The store spokesperson, though, denied the incident and said, “Nothing of the sort happened. There were a lot of security guards and of course there were guests too. But as it happens in a celebrity visit, people get excited for selfies and they had to be asked to step back. According to the plan, that I know of, Janhvi was supposed to stay at the store for some time, but because she was delayed in coming, she didn’t stay for very long and just did a photoshoot and left.”
