They came together for Film Companion’s group interaction alongside Vidya Balan, Kantara director Rishab Shetty and others. Varun raised eyebrows after he used the word ‘blowjob’ to explain the ongoing debate about Bollywood Vs South. Not just netizens, even Janhvi was left confused and her reaction is breaking the internet.

Sharing his opinions, the Student of the Year actor said, “Content is the key for films now. The audience is consuming only good contents. This is like a blowjob to the egos of stars. No longer are the days for star heroes pull factor for films. Content is everything now.” The moment the Dhadak actress heard the word ‘blowjob’ she gave a surprising reaction leaving netizens in splits. In the same interview, Varun miffed people by mispronouncing Kannada. Even after Hemanth Rao gave a long speech explaining Kannada’s correct pronunciation, Varun wrongly pronounced it and got brutally trolled. The Judwaa 2 actor said, “I hate using the term regional cinema, but Kannad cinema, Tamil cinema, or Telugu cinema are now seeing so much limelight. But some of the biggest hits in Hindi, when my dad was making films in the 90s, were remakes of Tamil or Telugu films.” Meanwhile, Janhvi and Varun will be seen together for the first time in the upcoming film ‘Bawaal’ which is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film will hit the theatres on April 7, 2023.
