14th May marked Mother’s Day and our B-town celebrities gave sweet shout-outs to their loving moms. Actor Janhvi Kapoor turned emotional as she remembered her late mom-actor Sridevi on the occasion. She posted an adorable childhood picture of her where young Janhvi was seen resting her face with her mom’s face as they posed together for the perfect shot. The Dhadak actress also penned an endearing note for Sridevi, calling her the ‘world’s best mom.’

Taking to her Instagram handle, Janhvi posted a priceless childhood memory of hers with her late mom and wrote in the caption, “running out of pictures but never out of memories. The best mumma in the world. You keep me going always I miss you.” In the cute throwback picture, Sridevi was seen holding a young Janhvi as they rested their faces next to each other while smiling for the camera. While the late actor wore a T-shirt, Janhvi looked cute in a printed white and blue frock. Fans, as well as celebs, were all hearts for this beautiful candid picture.

Janhvi’s sister Khushi Kapoor also posted a throwback picture of her with mom Sridevi. During her appearance on Koffee with Karan Season 7, the Mili actress spoke about the loss of her mother Sridevi, and said remembering that life now feels like a “fantasy”. Janhvi shared, “It almost feels that the person I was when mom was around was a fantasy. And the life I had then was a fantasy. I mean, of course, there were issues like every family has, but it was idyllic and it seems almost like a dream.”

For the unversed, Sridevi, one of the legendary actors of Hindi cinema, passed away on February 24, 2018, due to accidental drowning in a bathtub in her hotel room in Dubai.
