There’s never been a moment when Janhvi Kapoor has not missed her mom Sridevi. The Dostana 2 actress misses her mom dearly but manages to keep her dearest mother alive through all the memories. Time and again, after Sridevi’s sad demise, Jahnvi Kapoor has shared pictures of her mom talking about how she misses her presence. As Janhvi could not meet her mom Sridevi before her sad demise, the actress opens up about the last conversation she had with her mother which will leave you teary-eyed.
During an interview with Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor shared how whenever she was at home, her mother, Sridevi, would often put her to sleep. The actress went on to mention how her dearest mother would always lovingly feed her food while they were at home. As Janhvi was shooting for her debut film Dhadak during her mother’s demise, the actress opened up about the last conversation she had with Sridevi.
As Sridevi was supposed to leave for Dubai to attend a family wedding, Janhvi Kapoor mentioned how she asked her mother to tuck her to sleep. Recalling the moment, Janhvi shared that while her mom Sridevi was busy packing at that time, by the time she finished packing and went to the room of the Dhadak actress, she was half asleep. In the interview, the RoohiAfza actress went on to share that even at that time, she could feel her mother slowly patting her head, and putting her to sleep.
Meanwhile, as Janhvi Kapoor had to shoot early the next morning, the actress did not get a chance to bid adieu to her mother. While we all miss actress Sridevi dearly, time and again, Janhvi Kapoor shares pictures from her childhood reminiscing her days with her mother which are adorbs. The actress has also managed to keep the traditions of her family alive, which her mother followed earlier.
