Confirming the news to Mumbai Mirror, Pankaj Tripathi said, “It’s an important story that needs to be told. When Sharan narrated the script to me, I immediately agreed to be a part of it. My role is integral to the story and I found a human connect, which is an important criterion for me to sign a film. Janhvi is sincere, warm and extremely hard-working. She has prepped a lot for the film and we did a couple of readings together before shooting began.”
Further, talking about meeting the real Anup Saxena, Tripathi said, “Sharan has researched a lot so most of the required information was available to us. Meeting Mr Saxena was a great experience. I won’t be imitating him in the film as for me, it’s important to get the essence of the man right.”
