Janhvi Kapoor Takes Inspiration From Mom Sridevi, Channels Her Inner Chandni For A 90s Theme Party
For years, we have tried to dress up like Late Sridevi and be as gorgeous as her. None of us have come even a bit close to looking anything like her, but her daughter Janhvi Kapoor, she seems to be a spitting image of her as she recently dressed up as Chandni. Last evening, A-listers of B-Town enjoyed a Bollywood-Themed birthday bash of producer Amritpal Singh Bindra. From Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan to Shashank Khaitan and Janhvi Kapoor, a lot of celebrities showed up. Since it was a theme party, the majority of stars dressed up as 90s actors. Janhvi slipped into her mother's saree and recreated her look from Chandni.

The beautiful Dhadak actress took to her Instagram to share a few pictures from the party. In the pics, we see her dressed in a plain bright yellow saree. It's pretty easy to understand that she has dressed up like her mother to reminisce her iconic character of Chandni. Sridevi made this character so popular that she was often referred by her character name by fans and media. She became Bollywood's Chandni as she slipped into beautiful chiffon sarees and made us fall in love with her persona. Janhvi definitely grabbed this opportunity to remember her mother and must say, she managed to look splendid. Janhvi in the pictures can be seen posing with Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Shashank Khaitan. Talking about the party, Karan Johar along with Gauri Khan recreated the famous looks of Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani Mukerji from his film Kuch Much Hota Hai. Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Manish Malhotra dressed up like Amitabh Bachchan from his famous song Jhumma Chumma. In all, the party was LIT.
