The clock struck 5 pm and as announced the pin drop silence which was observed by the nation since morning, Janta Curfew, just cheered up with people clapping appreciating the hard work of the doctors who are busy protecting us against this dreadful virus, COVID-19.  Following the Bachchan family comes in videos from Kangana Ranaut’s family, filmmaker Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Hazel Keech and many more joining this hour by clapping and appreciating the efforts of the people in the society.

Actress Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel too took to her Twitter handle shared a video of her entire family clapping standing in the balcony of their Manali house. If one carefully listens, we can also hear prayers in the background. Her Tweet read, “Here we are expressing our gratitude for all the people who are staying outside of their houses so we can stay inside our houses, May Maa Sherawali protect you”


Karan Johar too came out on his balcony standing with the nation amid coronavirus outbreak, hoping for a bright day. Seen with him are his kids Yash and Roohi and mother. 


Varun Dhawan & entire Dhawan family too joined the league, taking to his Instagram handle he wrote, “#JANTACURFEW we will have to do this for longer. Everyone who is my age please keep your parents safe. I applaud the heroes fighting this virus”


Boney Kapoor too shared video of daughter Janhvi Kapoor's appreciating gestures on his Twitter handle.


National award winning actor Vicky Kaushal too penning a long post on his Instagram handle, out came and clapped at 5pm. Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi were beaming with joy as they clapped for the doctors and others who are helping us fight against COVID-19.  She wrote in her caption, “Its 5pm and here we are ...
