Jaya Bachchan is all set to make a comeback with the upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
Jaya Bachchan has enjoyed an illustrious career and she was one of the most promising actors of her generation. However, she quit acting after her marriage with Amitabh Bachchan in 1973 and dedicated all her time to her family and later politics. She is all set to make a comeback with the upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Now, an old video of her, wherein she answered when she would return to her acting career, has gone viral and netizens have compared a young Jaya Bachchan With Kangana Ranaut.
In the viral video, the interviewer asked Jaya about her experience of working in non-conventional films.
To which Jaya said that usually, in the 80s, the films were all about ‘marr-dharr’. However, she liked doing something out of the box. Further, the interviewer quizzed the then-leading actress about her plans to return to the silver screens. To this, Jaya gave a witty answer.
During the same conversation, Jaya revealed that she has dedicated all her time to three kids. She has no plans to return to her acting career anytime soon. To this, the interviewer quickly questioned her about her three kids, leaving her in laughter.
But her husband, Amitabh answered that two of them were their kids and one was he himself, and the three were left in splits.
Shortly after the video went viral, Netizens rushed to the comments section and pointed out that Jaya's then behaviour with the media, some compared her voice to that of Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut.
One netizen wrote, "Ngl she looks like kangu here." Another one mentioned, "Now that you have said it. I can't unsee it."
Meanwhile, speaking of Kangana Ranaut, the actress is also extremely loved for her acting skills. However, she is also counted amongst the outspoken stars in the industry.
On the professional front, she is all set to be seen in the film, Emergency, which will hit the theatres in November 2023. In the movie, she will play the role of 'Indira Gandhi'. Apart from that, Kangana also has other films in her pipeline, including Tejas, Chandramukhi 2, Sita and more.
