Ranveer Singh sends scentless soap to Anushka Sharma ahead of Jayeshbhai Jordaar’s trailer release tomorrow
Anushka Sharma recently shared an interesting post on her social media handle and said it has left her quite 'intrigued'. The actress posted a picture of her where she is seen holding scentless soap in her hand and this 'paramparik saabun' has been gifted to her by her Band Baaja Baaraat costar and dear friend Ranveer Singh. Ahead of the 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' trailer release tomorrow, the actor sends scentless soap to the actress alongside a sweet note in Jayeshbhai style.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the PK actress posted a photo where she can be seen wearing a black crop top. Along with this, Anushka also shared a note from her dear friend Ranveer Singh who addressed himself as Jayeshbhai in his film. The note read, “Respected Anushka, this scentless soap is an advanced invention of our Pravingadh. Our daughters and daughters-in-law are only allowed to bath with this soap. Why? Such things are not asked in our culture. I would have definitely invited you to my place but as soon as you would have crossed the toll, you would have had to cover your face with a veil. Then you won't be able to see anything. So its better that I send you a glimpse of life in Pravingadh so that you can experience it with your family at your own will. For now, I am sending you this traditional soap. Yours, Jayeshbhai Jordaar.”
While sharing her post, Anushka wrote, “Intrigued by the scentless soap and the special letter from #Jayeshbhai - curious to know what will unfold tomorrow! @yrf @ranveersingh.”
Meanwhile, produced under the Yash Raj Films banner, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a social comedy film directed by Divyang Thakkar. The film also stars South actress Shalini Pandey as the leading actress, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in pivotal roles. In this film, Ranveer will be seen playing the role of a middle-class Gujarati businessman. The trailer of the film will be released on 19th April. Jayeshbhai Jordaar is all set to hit the theatres on 13th May 2022.
