The makers of Jayeshbhai Jordaar starring Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar-Mrunal Thakur starrer Toofaan have avoided the big clash and pushed the release date of both the films. Amid the outburst of rapidly spreading Coronavirus, which originated from Wuhan, China, the filmmakers across the globe are pushing the release dates of their respective films. Yesterday, Rohit Shetty announced that his upcoming film Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's release date has been pushed as they are concerned about the health of their audience.
Taking to Twitter, YRF informed about the new development to the audience and tweeted the release dates of the film. Farhan’s Toofaan has been preponed and will now release on September 18, followed by Jayeshbhai Jordaar on October 2. YRF Tweeted, “In the interest of both films and to ensure an ideal theatrical release, #AdityaChopra & @ritesh_sid have decided to release their films on different dates. YRF will release #JayeshbhaiJordaar on 2nd October and @excelmovies will release #Toofaan on 18th September 2020.”
Farhan shared the same post on Instagram and confirmed his film’s date. His caption read, “#Toofaan will now release on 18th September 2020”. Toofan was initially going to release on October 2.
Talking about Jayeshbhai Jordaar, this YRF entertainer with a social message has been hailed as ‘a miracle script’ by Ranveer and the film’s casting decisions are clearly signalling to audiences that they can expect powerful, entertaining performances in the film.
