Bollywood’s Bajirao Ranveer Singh has become the talk of the town, thanks to his controversial nude photo shoot. Last week, the actor bared it all for Paper magazine and broke the internet with his naked photos. Many B-Town celebs like Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, and others have come out in support of Singh and now John Abraham has expressed his thoughts on the same. The Dhoom actor, who is currently in New Delhi for Ek Villain Returns promotions, left everyone in splits with his cheeky reaction.
When asked about Ranveer’s viral photo shoot, John took a stroll down memory lane and recalled his shooting days for ‘Dostana’ where he essayed the role of Kunal who was said to be a sex symbol in the film. Tarun Mansukhani’s directorial featured many scenes where John was seen seminude flaunting his chiseled abs and ripped muscles. The beach scene in the film where he wore tight-fitted yellow shorts as he came out of the waters bare-chested created a storm back then. While giving the reference to her film Dostana, John Abraham said, “I also wanted to tell you that there are a lot of edited portions of Dostana that I still have…” Not to forget, last year, John shared his piping hot photo where he was seen nude with a pillow kept on his lap. The selfie was captioned, "Waiting for wardrobe."
Meanwhile, reacting to Ranveer’s nude shoot, RGV told Etimes TV, that the actor’s photo shoot is his way of demanding justice for gender equality. He was quoted saying, “Think it’s his way of demanding justice for gender equality. If women can show off their sexy bodies why can’t men? It’s hypocritical that men are judged by a different standard. Men should have as many equal rights as women.”
On July 21, photos of Ranveer Singh posing nude hit the internet. In one of the clicks, he recreated Burt Reynold's popular picture by lying on a rug, completely naked.
