John Abraham Slams Death Hoax Of His Force And Rocky Handsome Director Nishikant Kamat; Asks Fans To Pray For Him
Since morning death hoax of Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat has been doing the rounds of social media. Earlier, a source close to Kamat had exclusively revealed to SpotboyE that he has suffered Liver Cirrhosis in the past and it has escalated now. Soon after the death hoax went viral, in no time filmmaker Milap Zaveri, actor Riteish Deshmukh and now John Abraham have slammed the rumours of his death.

Taking to social media, John wrote, “Nishikant is alive. In touch with his doctor. He is a fighter. Please pray for him.” It was earlier, Milap Zaveri first who confirmed that he is alive but on life support. Riteish Tweeted, "Nishikant Kamat is on ventilator support. He is still alive & fighting. Let’s pray for him," while Milap had tweeted, "Just spoke to someone who is with Nishikant in the hospital right now. He hasn’t passed away yet. Yes he is v critical and fighting life and death. But he is still alive."

Earlier, the hospital issued a statement and wrote, “Mr Nishikant Kamat (50 years, Male) was brought to AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad on 31st July with jaundice and abdominal distention. He has been diagnosed with Chronic Liver Disease and other secondary infections. He is in the intensive care unit for continuous monitoring under supervision of a multidisciplinary team of senior consultants comprising of Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, Critical Care, and others. His condition is critical but stable. We wish him a speedy recovery.”


For the uninitiated, Nishikant made his debut with regional film Dombivali Fast. However in Bollywood Nishikant Kamat is best known for films like Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran led, Drishyam, Irrfan Khan starrer Madaari, Mumbai Meri Jaan, among many others. He has also acted in a few films like Rocky Handsome (2016) starring John Abraham, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Fugay and Julie 2.
