Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, on Sunday, released a joint statement where they announced the arrival of their first child, a baby girl. In the heartfelt note, the couple called their newborn princess ‘magical.’ Alia and Ranbir are trending on the internet today with fans and Bollywood celebrities wishing the couple. While there is much curiosity to know about the name of RK’s little baby girl, it is being reported that the actors have already decided on the name for their daughter.
Not to forget, the Raazi actress had once expressed her desire to name her daughter on a dance reality show. While promoting one of her films, Alia had visited a dance-based show and asked a young contestant to spell her name. Even in one of the television interviews, the mom-to-be actress had revealed that she really loves the name Almaa and that she would like to name her daughter the same. And, as today, Alia has been blessed with a baby girl, it is being speculated that she has already zeroed in on Almaa name for her little bundle of joy. But, there is no official confirmation on the same. As per the Zoom TV report, the name Almaa means nourishing and kind soul.
While announcing the birth of their baby girl, Alia and RK shared a note that read, “ And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir.”
