Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali: Salman Khan And Pooja Hegde Starrer To Go On Floors On EID 2023, DETAILS BELOW
Salman Khan has collaborated with Sajid Nadiadwala and the upcoming film also stars Pooja Hegde as a female lead.
The excitement around Salman Khan starrer ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ has been burgeoning ever since the film’s announcement. Incidentally, no release date had been announced. But, if you follow Salman Khan, Eid goes hand-in-hand with the superstar and guess what, the superstar is all set to bring back his magic on the big screen with 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' on the occasion of Eid next year.
As reported, the 56-year-old has collaborated with Sajid Nadiadwala and the upcoming film also stars Pooja Hegde as a female lead. While the film is scheduled to go on floors this month, several reports suggest that a huge set is erected in Mumbai and the team is set to start shooting after a delay due to the pandemic.
According to Pinkvilla, Sajid and Salman have finalised the release date and they have decided to bring the film on Eid 2023.
A source spoke about the release of ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ and said, “Salman and Sajid’s last collaboration, Kick, was also an Eid release and it proved to be the first 200 crores grosser for both of them. They have now decided to bring their next too on Eid and an official announcement is round the corner. The film also features South star, Venkatesh and Pooja Hegde in key roles.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman also has Tiger 3 under his kitty. The film is on the last leg of its shoot and is now expected to release this year itself. Salman is also in talks for multiple other films including No Entry 2, Black Tiger and Dabangg 4.
Speaking of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the film is said to be a family comedy revolving around Salman, Venkatesh and Pooja Hegde. Three more actors are expected to come on board to play Salman's brothers in the film, whereas the hunt is on to get an actress from the South to play Venky's romantic interest.
