Kajol And Revathy Collaborate For An Extraordinary Flick Titled, The Last Hurrah
We can only expect a mindboggling end product on screen with this latest announcement. Actress turned director Revathy has collaborated with multi-talented actress Kajol, for her next film. Titled, The Last Hurrah, this film is inspired by a true story. Where an extraordinary mother Sujata, despite battling some challenging situations in her life, puts a big smile on her face and keeps going. The film is currently in its pre-production stage and will be hitting the shooting floors, very soon.

Kajol making his big announcement penned in the Instagram caption, “So happy to announce my next film with the super awesome Revathi directing me.. called 'The Last Hurrah'. A heartwarming story that made me instantly say YES! Can I hear a “Yipppeee” please?” Also the senior actress, Revathy was elated to announce her next and first film with Kajol. She penned in the Instagram caption, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce my next directorial, The Last Hurrah, and my very first collaboration with the very talented Kajol. This is a special story and an incredible journey I am looking forward to! #TheLastHurrah”

Revathy speaking about the film, said, “Sujata's journey in The Last Hurrah is extremely close to my heart. It's not only relatable but also inspiring. When Suuraj, Shraddha and I were discussing this film, Kajol was the first person who came to our mind. Her soft yet energetic eyes and her beautiful smile will make you believe that anything is possible and that is exactly how Sujata is. I am very excited for this collaboration and to be working with Kajol for this ‘heartening story’ .”


An elated Kajol shared, “When I heard the story of The Last Hurrah, I could instantly connect with Sujata and I thought her journey was incredibly inspiring. I think it's a beautiful journey and it deserves to be shared with everyone. And to have Revathy direct me for this story gives me more strength to play Sujata and showcase her strengths.”

Backed by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the production banner, Blive Production and Take 23 Studios Production, the movie is directed by Revathy and penned by Sammeer Arora.
