Kajol On Her Comparison With Daughter Nysa Devgan: ‘She’s Known All Over The World, I Wasn’t Till I Started Acting In Films’

Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s teenage daughter Nysa is the most popular star kid on social media with many fan club pages dedicated to her. Although she is away from the Bollywood industry, Nysa already has a huge fanbase and her pictures often go viral. In a recent interview, Kajol talked about how Nysa is 'known all over the world now. The proud mother recalled Nysa was once stopped on a Singapore bus by a fan for the autograph.
Speaking with Mashable India, the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actress mentioned that back in her days, there were no social media so life was much easier for her as a kid. Kajol even pointed out that Nysa is known all over the world now but she wasn’t till she started acting in films. Kajol was quoted as saying, “At that time, there was no social media so I think life was much easier for us as children. Yes, people knew I am Tanuja’s daughter and there was a certain pre-conceived notion but not as much as it is today. Nysa was studying in Singapore. The 48-year-old actress added, “So, it’s strange but she’s known all over the world. I wasn’t till I started acting in films. At least, I had the freedom that if I went somewhere, like London, there weren’t so many people who knew me till I got into film line myself.”
Interestingly, Kajol shares a great bond with Nysa and the mother-daughter duo is often spotted attending B-town parties and award nights. Nysa was born on 20th April 2003 and she is currently studying International Hospitality at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.
