Kajol wins the internet with her witty replies during her pledge session on Instagram
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Bollywood actress Kajol hosted a #PledgeWithKajol session on Instagram with her fans where she asked them to answer what they want to achieve this year. In a series of Instagram stories, Kajol recalled her journey in the showbiz world and conveyed that a woman can become whatever they want to. During the interactive session, Kajol was at her candid best and answered some of the most asked questions of her fans and shared them on her Instagram story.
She hosted the session and urged women to share their hidden ambitions and wrote, “Don't hold back, and pledge what you want to accomplish this year”. A fan asked a question about her cousin and actress Rani Mukherjee. She asked why Rani is not on the photo-sharing app Instagram. The fan message read, “Plz Rani Mukherjee ke baare mai batao woh insta pe kyu nhi h and happy women's day". Answering the question, Kajol replied, "Dialing Rani, this is serious!"
Known for her witty sense of humor, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress was also asked when she will work again with Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. To this, she said, "That's Karan's pledge to take. Wrong window guys." Well, we surely miss SRK-Kajol’s chemistry on the silver screen.
On several platforms, Kajol advocates the importance of women’s empowerment. When a fan asked her about one thing that she would like to teach to her daughter Nysa, Kajol replied, “I don't need to teach her anything. She is teaching me about it,”
Talking about her work front, the actress was last seen in Netflix film Tribhanga, which was directed by Renuka Shahane. Currently, she is busy shooting for her next project ‘Salaam Venky’ which is helmed by Revathi.
