Kamal Haasan Felicitates Legendary Vyjayanthimala Bali With A Lifetime Achievement Award At 11th JFW Magazine Awards 2019
Megastar Kamal Haasan felicitated legendary actress and artiste Vyjayanthimala Bali with a lifetime achievement award at 11th JFW Magazine Awards 2019 held last night. The award night hosted by JFW is a leading magazine in South India awarding women for their contribution towards cinema in Tamil industry. When Kamal Haasan was offered this opportunity he didn’t let it go and grabbed it like a newcomer would grab his/her first film of their respective career. But do you know what’s the story behind it?

On this occasion, the actor shared how he always looked for an opportunity to work with the veteran actress. He was eager to have her in Vishwaroopam 2, but by that time Bali had quit acting, Haasan accepted her decision with all due respect. Hence, when he was approached to present her the award he made sure he was there for this iconic moment. She looked graceful as always in a saree and her iconic bindi which extends towards her hairline, while Kamal Haasan looked dapper in beige fusion kurta with white bottoms.

Going by the pictures both looked extremely happy and we think there must be some stories that these legends might have narrated, leaving the audience amused on this glamorous night.

As per some news reports, veteran actress Vyjayanthimala Bali had also turned down a film offer made by yet another superstar. Along with Kamal Haasan she also refused to star in a flick by Rajinikanth, post she quit her acting career. Just like Kamal Haasan, Rajini too respected her opinion and saluted her for sticking by her decision.
