Kangana Ranaut has taken over all social media platforms as she unveiled a new song titled - 'Swagathaanjali' from her upcoming Tamil film 'Chandramukhi 2'. The actress performed the Bharatanatyam dance in the song, which was composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani. 

However, her dance steps did not go well with the audience and the song ended up receiving mixed responses on Twitter. Many brutally trolled her for her upcoming film and this time they do not appear to be in a mood to spare her. Kangana was called out for her Bharatanatyam dance in 'Swagathaanjali' on Twitter, with many users trolling her for butchering the art form.

Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the lead alongside Raghava Lawrence in 'Chandramukhi 2'. The film's teaser was released recently. On August 12, the makers of 'Chandramukhi 2' dropped the first single, 'Swagathaanjali' from the film. While some appreciated Keeravaani for the classical song many trolled Kangana for her Bharatanatyam performance in the song.




While some tried to defend her stating that she looks beautiful in the film and that she would ace her role.

Chandramukhi 2' is a comedy horror film, written and directed by P Vasu. The upcoming film is a sequel to the film of the same name, which starred Rajinikanth, Prabhu and Jyotika in lead roles. The sequel features Kangana Ranaut, Raghava Lawrence and Vadivelu in lead roles.

The film will release in theatres on September 19.
