Kangana Ranaut Gets Slammed By Delhi’s Deputy CM, Vishal Dadlani And Pritish Nandy For Her 'Tax' Remark; Rangoli Hits Back
And she hits back! With the trailer launch of Panga, actress Kangana Ranaut has already got the word controversy once again attached to her name.  The actress who went on to comment about the ongoing CAA protest invited trouble once again. Her statements didn’t go down well with the deputy chief minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia. The Panga actress had said only 3-4% of the Indian population are regular tax-payers and rest are dependent on them. She further questioned that who gives the right to these people who create ruckus damage the public property.

She had said, "When you protest, the first thing that's imp is that you don't turn violent. In our population, only 3-4% ppl pay tax, others are actually dependent on them. So, who gives you the right to burn buses, trains & to create ruckus in the country?"  To which the Delhi’s deputy CM had replied, “Even daily labourers pay indirect taxes when he buys something cheap like salt. They even pay taxes when they went to watch movies and are responsible for the income of actors.” Following her sister, Rangoli Chandel hit back at the deputy CM, for misconstruing her sister’s statement saying that Kangana was purely talking about taxpayers in the country. In her tweet, she also mentioned how many Bollywood stars who don’t have Indian passports too are excused from the tax brackets. Not only Manish Sisodia but Vishal Dadlani and Pritish Nandy too slammed Kangana. Vishal tweeted, "How ignorant can one be? This is the voice of privilege, trying to show how much better than the common man she is. FYI, EVERY Indian pays tax, either directly or indirectly. GST is levied on each transaction! The rich need to stop thinking they are special!"

Pritish too added, "When Kangana Ranaut claims 3-4% Indians pay taxes, she is woefully wrong. We all pay taxes— and high taxes at that— on anything we buy or sell. From the humble rickshawala to the student who gets mercilessly beaten up by the police for protesting against the govt’s silly policies"

We just keep our fingers crossed and hope this promotional spree of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie Panga, doesn’t give rise to any other controversy.
