Kangana Ranaut-Karan Johar War Continues: Actress Takes A Dig, "Mr Johars Of The World Present People Whose Acting Abilities Are Questionable"
Another Kangana Ranaut-Karan Johar war in the offing? The actress has yet again taken potshots at the filmmaker with her recent comments
Kangana Ranaut’s “nepotism” remark on Karan Johar is still talked about in the industry. While, you’d have expected them to bury the hatchet and move on, it seems like the actress is in no mood to let go off so easily. At the India Today Conclave 2019, Delhi, Kangana spoke about not making it to Karan Johar’s best actress list on his talk show Koffee With Karan.
She said, “I don't feel left out. I really feel I stand out. When you talk about actresses, here's a three-time National Award-winning actress. The Mr Johars of the world try to present a list of people whose acting abilities are questionable. It's brain-feeding of another magnitude. There was a time when we liked bell-bottoms and neon shades that people wore in the 70s but when we look back, we find it funny. This is what is going to happen to these people. They are going to look like idiots.”
Then, she slammed Hrithik Roshan who claimed that he didn’t know her personally. "Talking about this so-called case which never actually happened, here's a person I have worked with in two films. He is completely denying even knowing me and getting away with it. How does that even happen? It is such an absurd situation that you are in. You're saying that you don't know the person at all but you have worked with the same person for five years. One film took two years to make and the other took three years. How come you don't know the person? This is absurd. Even to think that you can get away with something like that is in itself a sign of powerdrunkness," she added.
When asked how would her reaction be, if she swapped places with Karan and Hrithik. She laughed, “He will never be where I am.” Furthermore, taking potshots at Karan, she said, “Karan mocked me on the IIFA stage and said that I am jobless and I am looking for jobs from him or something like that. I mean, look at my talent and look at your movies. I mean, really? He really called me jobless on some platform? I think some people need a dose of chyavanprash.”
