Kangana Ranaut Leaves For Mumbai Amid Uproar Over PoK Remark; Tests Negative For COVID-19
Kangana Ranaut, who faced the wrath of Netizens as well as Shiv Sena for her Mumbai- PoK remarks, has now left for Mumbai from her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. The actress tested negative for COVID-19
Kangana Ranaut, who landed in a controversy after a tweet wherein she questioned why Mumbai feels like Pakistan occupied Kashmir. This tweet was in response to Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut who asked Kangana not to return to Mumbai if she was so scared of Mumbai Police. What followed was social media outrage over Kangana’s remarks, and a war of words between Kangana and Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut. The actress had stated that she will arrive in Mumbai on September 9, and later, was also granted Y plus security cover by Union Home Ministry.
Now, Kangana Ranaut has already left for Mumbai from her hometown in Himachal Pradesh, amid uproar over her Mumbai- PoK remark. She had been staying at her home in Himachal Pradesh since the lockdown was announced. According to Aaj Tak, the actress’ second COVID-19 report came negative, and now she is all set to arrive in Mumbai. Kangana is scheduled to go to Chandigarh first via road, and from there she will catch a flight to Mumbai at 12.15 pm.
While on the way from Mandi District to Chandigarh, Kangana was also seen offering prayers at a temple in Hamirpur district.

Kangana took to her Twitter this morning and wrote, “रानी लक्ष्मीबाई के साहस,शौर्य और बलिदान को मैंने फ़िल्म के जरिए जिया है। दुख की बात यह है मुझे मेरे ही महाराष्ट्रा में आने से रोका जा रहा है मै रानी लक्ष्मीबाई के पद चिन्हों पर चलूँगी ना डरूंगी, ना झुकूँगी। गलत के ख़िलाफ़ मुख़र होकर आवाज़ उठाती रहूंगी, जय महाराष्ट्र, जय शिवाजी (I have lived the courage, valour and sacrifice of Rani Laxmibai through the film. It’s sad that I am being prevented from coming to my own Maharashtra. I will follow the footsteps of Rani Laxmibai and will not get scared or bow down.
