Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra apartment. One month after his death, his family filed an FIR naming his GF Rhea Chakraborty as a prime accused of abetment of suicide. Since then CBI and ED had been investigating the case and stumbled upon a few chats of Rhea, her brother, and Sushant's staff, discussing and procuring drugs. Since then it has been a pandora's box and many Bollywood names have come to the forefront as and when NCB widened its search.

Currently, Rhea and her brother Showik are logged in judicial custody while others like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash have been summoned by the NCB this week. As per the Republic, the latest update is that Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta will be questioned tomorrow by NCB. Deepika Padukone on 25th September, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan to be questioned on 26th September.

After this news broke, Kangana Ranaut who has been voicing her strong opinion on the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood tweeted and claimed that the 'Bullywood' mafia must be wishing they hadn't killed Sushant. She tweeted, "Finally
for the first time Bullywood mafia wishing that Sushant wasn’t killed and Kangana wasn’t pushed against the wall, for the first time they are
regretting their cruelty, sadism, and silence. For the first time, they are wishing they could turn back time and bring us back"

Just yesterday Deepika's name was linked to the drug nexus when her 2017 chat with her manager Karishma Prakash discussing drugs emerged. Karishma is an employee of the KWAN talent management company and even the co-owners of KWAN were called in for interrogation. But this isn't the first time KWAN was in news, a few years back its founding men=mber Anirban Blah was accused of rape and subsequently, he was removed from the company. Kangana revisited the incident and had tweeted about the same.
