After the 'drug angle' came to light in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, Kangana Ranaut came forward to claim that many Bollywood celebrities are heavy consumers of narcotics. On social media, Kangana stated that many Bollywood A-listers would be behind the bars if the Narcotics Control Bureau launches a probe and investigates about stars consuming drugs. Going a step ahead, Kangana in her latest tweet has named a few stars like Ayan Mukherjee, Ranveer Singh, and others and stated that they should give a drug test.

Kangana in her latest post stated that these young stars should give a drug test and if their tests come out clean, they'll set an example for all and inspire millions of their fans. She wrote, "I request Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Vicky Kaushik to give their blood samples for drug test, there are rumours that they are cocaine addicts, I want them to bust these rumours, these young men can inspire millions if they present clean samples @PMOIndia."

Earlier, it was in an interview with Republic that Kangana had spoken about the connection of Bollywood stars and drugs. In her statement, she has stated that almost 99 percent of Bollywood has consumed drugs at some point in time. She was quoted saying, "At some point, 99 percent of them. Some might have faced health conditions, or because of age, or after being admitted or having repercussions, they have quit now after doing it throughout their youth. Even if I count them, there are 99 percent of people. Everybody without fail, at some point, is doing it, and if there is a party, everyone is indulging in it."
