Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has landed in hot waters once again. This time, a complaint has been filed against the Bollywood actress, for laughing on a meme. Since the past few months now, Kangana has made it to the headlines for some reason or another. In the past few days, she has grabbed headlines for her mega Twitter spat with Diljit Dosanjh about the farmer’s protest in Punjab, and a case in connection to her Kites co-star Hrithik Roshan. Now, a political leader has filed a complaint against Ranaut, accusing her of allegedly defaming him.

ANI reported that a complaint has been filed against actor Kangana Ranaut in Gaya Civil Couret for her alleged remarks on RLSP leader Upendra Kushwaha. The report quoted Kushwaha’s lawyer saying, “It's a crime to make derogatory comments against any leader. So, we've asked court to take cognizance of our complaint.” Reading the report on the internet, the Manikarnika actress made a tweet, expressing her fury. She tweeted, “So I have a case filed on me in Maharashtra this time for laughing, very soon they will object to my breathing also.” The actress misunderstood the report and thought the complaint about laughing on a meme was filed against her in Maharashtra. She made the tweet with hands clapping emojis.

Meanwhile, the meme in question was posted on December 3 where a picture of the RLSP leader was marked as ‘Azad Kashmir’. The other leaders, who were spotted trying to squeeze themselves into the frame, to get a picture with Kushwaha, were marked as ‘Khalistanis’, ‘Jihadis’, ‘Lutyens Liberals’ etc. Reacting to the post, Ranaut had quoted the tweet and shared it with 5 laughing emojis. Her actions seemed to have irked the leader and his supports. At that time, a user also requested that action must be taken against the actress.
