Sohel Maklai, producer of Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad, suffered a heart attack on Wednesday and was rushed to the hospital in the nick of time. We connected with him last night as he was on the way back to his home after undergoing an angioplasty
Yesterday, we brought you the news that Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad producer Sohel Maklai was admitted to Nanavati Hospital and underwent an angioplasty. Well, he's back home but mind you- his lifestyle has now got to change.
On his way back home last evening at 8 pm, Sohel told us, "No more cigarettes for me. I used to have about 20 a day. Aur ab time pe sona hai aur jaagna bhi. Plus, my food habits have to change, sabse pehle time par khaana seekhna hai. Our industry does not allow certain things to happen at the right time and these are the things that govern health."
Sohel described that it all began at filmmaker Sandeep Singh's office in Andheri on Wednesday evening. "I felt a sharp pain in my chest and thought that it was an acidity attack. Sandeep took me to a doctor nearby, from where we then headed to Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu. They told me that I have had a heart attack and suggested I get admitted. I knew a few doctors at Nanavati and decided to go there instead."
We had reported that the CCTA conducted had revealed blockages. Confirmed Sohel, "Yes, two arteries had blockages- one to the tune of 90 per cent, while the other 65."
We stand by Sohel in his ill-health. Get well soon, sir!
