Actress Kangana Ranaut and political party Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut faceoff has just escalated even more. As per reports in Republic, the Queen actress has been provided with Y-Plus category security at her residence in Manali. The team deployed at her residence where she was stationed ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began, will now have 10 armed commandos for the safety and security of the actress. The move was made after the actress’ father wrote to CM of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur regarding her safety.

As per reports in the said portal, a video statement was released by the CM as CRPF security was deployed for the actress’ safety and security. "Actor Kangana Ranaut is the daughter of our state. Her father has written to me, expressing his concerns over her security. I have informed my DGP, to assess the threat & take appropriate action. A police team will be deployed with her in Manali, today," said the CM.  Also as per reports in ANI News agency a team of health officials are said to be at the actress’ residence for COVID-19 test of Kangana and her sister.

The tweet, “A team of health officials is also present at the actor's residence, to test her and her sister for #COVID19.”


The security is provided to the actress after she was threatened as Kangana compared Mumbai to POK and then with Taliban which caused a stir on the social networking platforms. Followed by Sanjay Raut passing a nasty comment on her. Post which the actress who revealed returning to Mumbai on September 9, was threatened by many people.
