Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office, Manikarnika Films was demolished by the BMC officials today. The demolishing was put on hold after the Bombay High Court put a stay reacting to the plea filed by Kangana’s lawyer. It was about a few days back when Kangana shared videos and alleged that the BMC officials forcefully entered her office without prior notice. After Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office, Manikarnika Films situated in Bandra was demolished by the BMC officials for ‘structural violation’, while speaking with the media, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar reacted to the BMC’s action.
According to a report in Indian Express, Sharad Pawar reacted to BMC officials demolishing parts of Kangana Ranaut’s Pali Hill office. Talking about the BMC’s action, Sharad Pawar said, “I do not have much information on the action taken by the BMC. However, illegal construction in Mumbai is not a new thing.” The NCP supremo mentioned how he does not have much information on the action taken by the BMC. He then continued to talk about how illegal construction in Mumbai is not a new thing.
Furthermore, speaking on the same issue, Sharad Pawar continued, “In view of the present situation, taking action gives space for creating doubts in the minds of people. The BMC has its own rules and officers may have taken action as per what they felt was right.”The NCP supremo said that the action taken by the civic body in the view of the present situation ‘gives space for creating doubts in the minds of people’, as he continued to share his perspective on the same.
Meanwhile, the demolition was put on hold after the Bombay High Court’s order. Ranaut who purchased the bungalow in 2017, renovated it in January this year. While the parts of Kangana Ranaut’s office space were demolished by the BMC today, the actress arrived in the city this afternoon.
