Kangana Ranaut's Queen Clocks Six: A Game-Changer For Women In True Sense
Kangana Ranaut's Queen broke several records at the box office. Directed by Vikas Bhal, Queen turned out to be one of the high acclaimed films of this era. Audiences enjoyed Kangana's performance to the core and cash started ringing at the BO. However, this film is not a success just because of its commercial success, it is much more than that. The film proved to be a game-changer in the true sense, not just for Kangana but for all the women out there.

Queen is a story of a girl from a small-town who gives up on her ambitions to marry the man of her dreams. Her life revolves only around him, with every happiness linked to him. But sadly, he is not exactly the man of her dreams. On the day of the wedding, her emotions are crushed as her loverboy does not turn up. The character of her lover is played by Rajkummar Rao. In a society like India where weddings get discussed right after a girl child is born, this indeed is a phase of emotional trauma. Kangana Ranaut's character Rani suffers through this heartbreak only to emerge stronger.

Rani embarks on a new journey as she goes on her honeymoon to Paris, solo and this trip helps her realise that she needs no one to be happy.  It's a message for all the women out there, who think that they are dependent on somebody to gain happiness, but in reality, it is important for you to be your own source of happiness. It is only after she gets out of her cacoon, Rani gains confidence and realises that there is much more to life than being reliant on a man to be happy.

It's time to be selfish and embrace our own flaws, ambitions and goals, and be content with who we really are. Value yourself, and then there is nothing to stop you, just like Rani. In short, be the Queen of your own story.
