Kangana Ranaut has been in the news ever since her video after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise went viral on social media. The Manikarnika actress called Sushant’s death a ‘planned murder’ in the viral video. Recently, in an interview with Republic TV, Kangana spoke at length about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, questioned the probe in his case, and called out Bollywood heavyweights such as Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, narrating her experiences with them. She also mentioned during the interview that she was called for a statement, and she said that she was in Manali, asking if they could send someone to take her statement. However, after that, she claimed she hasn’t received anything after that.
Now, Kangana’s team has clarified on their social media account that Mumbai Police hasn’t sent a formal summon to Kangana, and her sister Rangoli has only been getting casual calls from the cops. The tweet read, “There is no formal summon sent to Kangana , Rangoli keeps getting casual calls from the cops for past 2 weeks, Kangana wants to record statement but we don’t get any response from @mumbaipolice, Here’s a screen shot of message Rangoli ji sent to @mumbaipolice.”
The screenshot showed the conversation, and in the last message sent by Rangoli, she has asked for the questions to be sent, so that Kangana can record her statement.
The text that Kangana Ranaut’s team claims was sent by Rangoli to Mumbai Police, read, “Dear sir, As we spoke today kindly send us the questions u want to ask Ms. Kangana Ranaut so that Ms Ranaut can record her statement accordingly.
