Kangana Ranaut never minces words and that’s one quality her fans love the most. Today at an event, she spoke on the deforestation of Aarey to make way for Mumbai metro. It is the hot topic currently as Government is planning to chop off more than 2500 trees to provide car shed for the upcoming metro. However, Mumbaikars are against this decision so is Kangana Ranaut. At the event, she spoke about how it is not right to cut trees and turn Mumbai into a concrete jungle.

She said, “The trees that we have, we can’t cut them and make the city a concrete jungle”. Well said.  She was further questioned on celebs raising their voice on Aarey deforestation, she said, “I think, everyone should come forward. I would like to request to my friends in media that you should set a high standard for them. They display quite a selfish behavior and show indifference towards the nation. Power should be given to those who don’t misuse it.”




Talking about Aarey Deforestation, many from Bollywood have come forward to raise their voice against it. Arjun Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor and many others have raised concerns.

Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Judgementall Hai Kya along with Rajkummar Rao. She will next be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga in which she essays the role of a Kabaddi player. Apart from this, she also has Dhakkad in her kitty. She is indeed is one busy woman in tinsel town.
