Kangana Ranaut, while hitting out at Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s statement asking her not to return to Mumbai, questioned why Mumbai started feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The actress faced the wrath of Netizens who slammed her for her remarks. The war of words of the actress with Sanjay Raut continued, and she arrived in Mumbai on September 9. Kangana’s office was partially demolished by the BMC on the same day for alleged illegal construction. Now, Kangana and her sister Rangoli were seen heading out to meet Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan.

While it was revealed earlier that Kangana would be meeting and interacting with the state Governor at his residence at 4:30 pm, the reason or agenda of their meeting wasn’t clear. The shutterbugs clicked the actress and her sister Rangoli as they headed out to meet the state governor. Pictures have surfaced on the Internet and reportedly, a group of people were seen protesting against Kangana outside her house. Meanwhile, Kangana, in the pictures, can be seen seated in her car, while she waved at the paparazzi.

Video of the actress arriving at Raj Bhavan, meeting Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari was also shared by ANI. She can be seen wearing a beige saree with a pearl necklace, while Rangoli can be seen in a blue outfit. Kangana Ranaut tweeted about her meeting with the state governor and wrote, "A short while ago I met His Excellency the Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji. I explained my point of view to him and also requested that justice be given to me it will restore faith of common citizen and particularly daughters in the system."


Kangana Ranaut was granted Y plus security cover ahead of her Mumbai visit. The actress landed in Mumbai on September 9 to a massive gathering at the airport.
