Kangana Ranaut has issued a vigorous response to filmmaker Deepa Mehta's critique of her stance on the Israel-Gaza conflict. Recently, Kangana met with Israel's ambassador, Naor Gilon, and voiced her solidarity with the nation during its ongoing conflict with Gaza. Interestingly, filmmaker Deepa Mehta responded to the Simran star's "we stand in Israel’s support," tweet and wrote " “OMG. Who let her loose?” This mocking didn't go down well and the 36-year-old hit back at the female director with a nasty tweet. Replying to Mehta's comments, Kangana wrote: "Who let her loose means? Tumko kya Aurangzeb ki aatma ne apne harem mein chained slave banake rakha hai? Madam lagta hai kuch zayada BDSM ho raha hai aaj kal raaton mein. Sudhar jaao!!" Earlier, actor Prakash Raj also took a jibe at Kangana after she encouraged audiences to visit theaters. Her film Tejas had just been released the previous week, and due to a lacklustre reception, Kangana discussed the decreased audience turnout in theaters post-COVID. Tejas was released in theaters on October 27, but it failed to make a notable impression at the box office among the audiences. The film started with a modest collection of Rs 1.25 crore on Friday, and there was no improvement on Saturday as it earned the same amount. Consequently, the film's total earnings stand at Rs 2.50 crore. Kangana Ranaut who was dedicated with the movie's promotional activities was the first woman to do 'Ravan Dahan' in Delhi's Ramlila.
