Ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has gripped the entire world with fear and uncertainty; everything has come to a standstill with nations imposing lockdown and asking everyone to follow safety measures to remain safe against this novel Coronavirus. Many celebs from the entertainment world or their close ones were also tested positive for Coronavirus. It began with popular singer Kanika Kapoor. The singer being tested positive of this novel Coronavirus created quite a stir in the industry.  She was slammed for being irresponsible and not practising social distancing despite having COVID-19 symptoms post her return to India from the UK. Now declared free of this novel Coronavirus, she is currently with her parents in Lucknow.


Following Kanika Kapoor, actress Zoa Morani was tested positive too, she announced it on her social networking account and also kept her fans posted with all her health updates while she was being treated at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Along with her, her sister Shaza Morani and father –producer Karim Morani were also treated. All three have recovered since then and Zoa also donated her blood plasma for the other COVID-19 patients.


Actor Freddy Daruwala’s father too was tested positive of COVID-19, the actor broke the news and also assured that his father is practicing isolation in their bungalow. In conversation with Times Of India, he had mentioned about being in limbo when he had to wait for test results of his father.


Next is Prassthanam actor Satyajeet Dubey, the actor broke the news of his mother being tested positive on his Instagram account. He penned the entire scenario right before his mother was declared positive of this virus in his Instagram post. The actor’s mother is currently in Nanavati hospital in Mumbai, undergoing the treatment.


Purab Kohli who is in London with his wife and kid also announced being infected by Corona. The Rock On actor announced the details on his Instagram on April 7 and has recovered since then. 


Besides them, actress Janhvi Kapoor and jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali’s domestic helps too were found positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, nobody from these families was affected by this novel Coronavirus.
