Kapil Sharma, Shilpa Shetty, Alia Bhatt In Big B's New TV Show

There's a lot of buzz around Amitabh Bachchan's new show, Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi. And here's something you need to know about Bachchan's initial stages of his new run in the TV scene.
Among the first guests on the show is popular comedian Kapil Sharma, who recently made his movie debut. A source associated with the show told SpotboyE.com that unlike the humorous side that we've seen of his on Comedy Nights, here he'll be seen in a serious avatar.
Said the source, "The first episode revolves around people who succeeded in life despite several odds. So be prepared for an emotional season debut where Kapil will speak about how he struggled to make a name as a comedian, the support he received, and his final adulation. He has already shot for it."
The other guest on the show is Shilpa Shetty, who too will be talking about her journey as an actor, entrepreneur, reality-show judge and anchor. "She brings a lot of glamour to the show and has a lot of interesting stories to share. Kapil and Shilpa won't be seen together but in separate segments within the first episode," our source added.
While these are the entrants for the show's pilot as well, we hear the producers have also roped in Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia to be a part of one episode.
Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi, which premiers next week, is based on BBC's popular entertainment show Tonight's The Night, which was hosted by Scottish-American actor-singer John Barrowman. The show has ordinary people living out their fantasies for real with the help of other celebrities who feature in the episodes.
