Two days ago, everyone across the world, including Bollywood celebrities said their goodbyes to 2020, and welcomed the New Year. While several stars spend quality time with family at home, many enjoyed the first day of the New Year at different locations, away from home, with close ones. Amongst a few, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar welcomed 2021 with friends and family in Goa. On Friday, Karan Johar made a post on welcoming the New Year. He shared a heart-warming picture, speaking about how it wasn’t an easy year.
On Instagram, Karan Johar dropped a picture with his kids Yash Johar and Roohi Johar. KJo mentioned how it wasn’t an easy year, but expressed how grateful he is to friends and close ones. In the caption, Karan wrote, “I am grateful for my family and friends for always having my back...to everyone in my company who are my extended family and am eternally grateful for their love and loyalty....” The filmmaker added how it wasn’t an easy year but mentioned that he learnt many lessons and took necessary steps too, some ahead of and some intentionally behind. Johar concluded his caption writing, “I believe we all have the resilience to combat every obstacle and always emerge victorious,” and send love to everyone, wishing a ‘Happy New Year’.
