Karan Johar Fails To Stay Away From The Order Of The Day- Web Shows; Launches Dharmatic

Web shows are flavour of the season. Almost every Bollywood personality is diving into content on such kind- be it Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Rajkummar Rao, and of course Ekta Kapoor. Now, Ekta’s close friend Karan Johar will be producing such stuff. The operations will be done at Dharma’s office at Andheri West. The dynamics have been worked out and the first offering from KJo will roll out soon.

The set-up will be called Dharmatic. A separate team has been formed to produce, direct and edit the digital content from this division. It won’t surprise anybody if Karan will be an active decision maker in almost all the departments, given his knowledge and passion for celluloid. We expect an official announcement of the first venture, soon.

Karan shared this business development on social media. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director wrote, “A new journey begins!!!! DHARMATIC! The Digital content company! @apoorva1972 this is going to be our new baby! Fiction head @somenmishra Non fiction head @aneeshabaig”


Meanwhile, Karan anxiously awaits the fate for 2.0 (starring Akshay Kumar, Rajnikanth and Amy Jackson) which releases tomorrow. The film had a grand trailer launch in Chennai, last month.

Before the year ends, Karan has another biggie coming up, Simmba (starting RS and Sara Ali Khan)
